Disney Is Charging Players $26 For A Six-Pack Of Pepsi, Offers No Room Service Until 5pm
The NBA is trying their very best to make life within the bubble as pleasant as possible for the players, and while there were some initial complaints about the food quality, things have been looking brighter for the players in recent weeks. At least the complaints have become less.
Orlando Magic wingman Terrence Ross now was guest on the Pat McAfee show to give an inside look at the Bubble. While Ross didn’t really complain about the food too much, he revealed a different issue players have.
The room service in the Disney Hotel within the Bubble does not operates until 5pm. More so, they charge ridiculous prices such as $26 for a six pack of Pepsi.
“We can’t order [room service] until 5 o’clock.”
“We can go down to the main hub, to get the food that they give us, but it’s like lunch food that you get at high school. It’s not bad, but sometimes you’re just want to eat more, and it is hard to do that sometimes, ’till like 5 o’clock…”
“I know someone that got charged for a six pack of Pepsi, $26… You have to pay for room service… If you want this little coffee, it’s $40 per cup.”
