LeBron James Talks Up Lakers Sophomore Talen Horton-Tucker
Lakers sophomore Talen Horton-Tucker had been raising eyebrows this past offseason with his stellar play.
The youngest American to ever win an NBA championship, recorded 19 points, 9 rebounds, 4 assists and 3 steals in his first preseason game, followed it up with a scorching 33-point game to go along with 10 rebounds, 4 steals and 4 assists in the second game and, 18 points, five rebounds and two assists in 24 minutes in his third.
This has led to Horton-Tucker becoming a valuable part of the Lakers’ rotation in the regular season as well. The 2nd year man has deserved his fair share of minutes and now even got some praises by none other than LeBron James.
“Always live by the phrase ‘the best teacher in life is experience’, and he’s experiencing some great moments for himself as a pro. He’s going to continue to learn, he’s going to continue to get the opportunities because he’s earned it.”
