Steve Kerr Gives Promising Update On Klay Thompson’s Road To Recovery
After working his way back into form following the torn ACL he suffered during the 2019 NBA Finals, Klay Thompson received new devastating news when an injury he suffered this past offseason turned out to be an Achilles tear.
But Thompson, who will miss the entire season, is still with the team as often as his rehab allows him to, and he seems to be more than appreciated by every single one on the team.
Thompson’s head coach Steve Kerr now gave us an update and revealed that Klay is starting a new chapter on his road to recovery – running.
Being cleared for running is a huge step and a promising sign, as it indicates that Thompson will likely make a full recovery.
The next stage in Klay Thompson's rehab is running. Steve Kerr said he's on pace to be able to do that within the next couple weeks.
