NBA Legends Pay Respect To Russell Westbrook & Congratulate Him For Triple-Double Record

It’s done! Russell Westbrook officially beat Oscar Robertson’s 47-year long standing record of 181 career triple doubles.

It was doomed to be one of those records that couldn’t be broken, but Westbrook, who will average a triple double over an entire season for the fourth time in his career, was able to do the unthinkable.

To congratulate him, the Washington Wizards put together a video in which some of the biggest triple double legends in NBA history – among them Oscar Robertson himself – paid their respect to the All-Star point guard.
