NBA Is Exploring An Outdoor ‘Field Of Dreams’ Style Game
While the wind and weather conditions influence the game of basketball way more than other sports such as hockey, baseball, or football, the NBA is thinking about a possible outdoor game nonetheless.
NBA Vice President of Basketball Strategy & Analytics, Evan Wasch, has revealed that the NBA is indeed exploring an outdoor ‘Field of Dreams’ type game.
“We’ve explored it, and we’ll continue to talk about it. The FOD game was incredibly successful. No surprise, it’s sparked discussions.”
