Mardi Gras Parade Dissed Zion Williamson & Pelicans With Float Called ‘Setback’

After making his first All-Star game and finishing his sophomore year with averages of 27.0 points, 7.2 rebounds and 3.7 assists on an efficient 61.1% shooting from the field, Zion Williamson’s career turned for the worse.

Zion has been rehabbing his broken foot for almost a year now, and his relationship with the New Orleans Pelicans is questionable, at best.

With them not knowing too much about his progress and his intentions, and his added weight, Pelicans fans are starting to turn away from what was supposed to be the franchise’s savior.

During the Mardi Gras parade in the city, they even dedicated a float to the Williamso-Pelicans situation, and dissed Zion with the float they called “Setback”.
