Kevin Durant Was Heavily Booed By Olympiakos Fans Who Lit Up Flares And Burnt Firecrackers
The Brooklyn Nets were eliminated early in the playoffs following a four-game series sweep coming at the hands of the Boston Celtics. It was a brutal series for the whole team, especially for Kevin Durant and Kyrie Irving.
Durant posted one of the worst series of his career with averages of 26.3 points, 5.8 rebounds and 6.3 assists per game on an abysmal 38.6% shooting from the field. He was the focus of defense, and Durant failed to figure it out.
But Durant is already enjoying his offseason, and has traveled to Europe.
Last week, he was seen at the EuroLeague quarterfinal game between Monaco and Olympiakos in Monaco, and supported his former teammate Mike James. But Durant did the full set of games and now was in Pireas for the deciding game yesterday.
But things are different in Europe. The Greek side won, but fans went crazy. They lit up flares, fired some firecrackers and used laserpointers to distract the opposing players.
Oh and they heavily booed Kevin Durant.
