Iman Shumpert Was Arrested At Dallas/Fort Worth Airpot For Possession Of Illegal Substances 

In recent years, NBA Champion and defensive winger Iman Shumpert has produced more news off the court than on.

Shumpert has been making and releasing music and also won ‘Dancing with the Stars’ last year.

While he continutes to produce off court headlines, this time they aren’t good news. Shumpert was arrested on felony drug charges after authorities allegedly found marijuana in his bag at the Dallas/Fort Worth Airport.

According to police reports, Shumpert was carrying 6.12 ounces of marijuana, and now faces up to two years in jail.

While recreational marijuana and medical marijuana is legal in Texas, it remains illegal on a federal level, which includes airports.
