Tony Snell has been one to make some interesting headlines throughout his career.
Snell once had the infamous 0 points, 0 rebounds, 0 assists, 0 steals and 0 blocks line in 28 minutes of play, but on the other hand also became the NBA’s first 50-50-100 player. Snell finished the 2020-21 regular season with 51.5 percent from the field, 56.9 percent from three and 100 percent from the line.
Snell revealed Friday that he was recently diagnosed with autism spectrum disorder at the age of 31. Being guest on the TODAY show, Snell talked about how that journey has been.
“I just couldn’t connect with people on the personal side of things,” Snell explained. “If he’s diagnosed, I think I am too. That gave me courage to go get checked up.”
“I was not surprised,” he added. “I’ve always felt different. I was like, ‘Ah, this is why I’m the way I am.’
“It just made everything about my whole life make so much sense.”
