After they were a game away from making the NBA Finals last season, the Miami Heat have made it their business to enter this year’s NBA campaign with serious championship aspirations. However, the Heat haven’t gotten much momentum and are currently seventh in the Eastern Conference.
The Heat made no moves at the past NBA trade deadline, but they scoured the buyout market and struck with former Cleveland Cavaliers champion Kevin Love. Still, they’ve haven’t been lucky as they are 1-3 so far with Love in the lineup.
Now, Heat veteran Udonis Haslem doesn’t like the fact that the Heat have been losing a lot of games this season which also happens to be the final season of his 20-year career. Haslem rarely plays at this point of his career, but the 42-year old reveals that he’s losing sleep over their losses this season.
Per Heavy.com:
“Nobody likes to lose. I’m losing sleep at night, you know what I mean,” Udonis Haslem said. “This is not the way I wanted my last year to go. But I think definitely for me, nothing has been easy in life and I’ve had to work for everything. It’s just another situation where you got to work, man. For us to get what we want, we got to push a little harder, give a little more and that’s just how it is in life.”
