8 Years Ago Today, Klay Thompson Had His INSANE NBA Record 37-Point 3rd Quarter

While Klay Thompson has fully worked his way back into form, even winning another NBA championship after his lengthy injury break, one of his greatest shooting nights is celebrating its anniversary.

Eight years ago today, the Golden State Warriors superstar scored 52 points in a 126-101 win over the Sacramento Kings.

In this win however, Thompson set an NBA record for points in a quarter by scoring 37 in the third. It broke the record of 33 points previously held by George Gervin and Carmelo Anthony.
