Kevin Love’s 1st quarter: 11/14 from the field, 4/4 from the line, 8/10 from three – 34 points
Kevin Love’s 34 points in the first quarter against the Trailblazers were the most points in a first quarter by any player in NBA history , as well as the second most points in any quarter in NBA history behind Klay Thompson’s 37 point third quarter. Kevin Love therefore also had the most points in one quarter in Cavaliers franchise history. LeBron James had the record prior to last nigh with 24 (three times). Love outscored the Blazers 34-31 in the quarter.
