Patrick Beverley has made a name for himself with his pesky defense, intangibles and trash-talking. He excels in areas that aren’t reflected in stats, and that’s what teams sign him for.
Before Thursday’s trade deadline, Beverley was traded from the Philadelphia 76ers to the Milwaukee Bucks. It didn’t take too long for him to make Milwaukee his new home.
In his first game already, Beverley grabbed the drawing board from head coach Doc Rivers, to draw up a play.
“It’s like he’s been here for five months already, instead of five minutes,” the announcer said on the broadcast.
