Draymond Green finds himself with more free time this year, as the Golden State Warriors are not in the playoffs as they usually are. He’s been more active with his podcast and making guest appearances on TV and other shows.
Recently, on “The Big Podcast” with Shaquille O’Neal, Green revealed something about Los Angeles Lakers superstar LeBron James that might not be very surprising. It is no secret that the two players share a close friendship and business ventures off the court, while also having a long history of intense competition on the court.
Accustomed to playing against LeBron, Green mentioned that he would love to play with the 39-year-old superstar. However, Green clarified that this doesn’t have to be on an NBA team but could be internationally, such as on Team USA.
Per TalkBasket:
“I thought I had the opportunity this summer to check that off the box. It didn’t happen for me, but I would love to play with Bron,” Green explained. “Not necessarily I want to be on this NBA team, but I would have loved the opportunity to play together because I want to see how his mind works on a day-to-day basis in the basketball setting.”
