Anthony Edwards has become the go-to guy for the Minnesota Timberwolves, and it looks like he’s in it for the long haul. However, things change fast in the NBA, and Edwards’ future with the Wolves may not be as set in stone as it seems.
After a breakout season that saw the Timberwolves reach the Western Conference Finals, Edwards continued his hot streak with a spot on the U.S. Olympic men’s basketball team. Beyond just winning, it looks like Edwards is thoroughly enjoying the camaraderie.
Word has it that Edwards has particularly enjoyed his time with Miami Heat’s Bam Adebayo and head coach Erik Spoelstra. Miami hasn’t frequently come up as a team connected to Edwards, but this Olympic partnership has sparked speculation, with renowned NBA analyst Bill Simmons signaling not to rule anything out between the two sides.
“Ant Edwards really loves Bam and Spoelstra and his experience with them. Don’t be surprised…. Story drop. Am I dropping it now?”
