The NBA has brought back a holiday favorite with the release of “Jingle Hoops Regifted,” an animated remake of the beloved 2013 “Jingle Hoops” commercial.
The original “Jingle Hoops” commercial featured Stephen Curry, Steve Nash, Kevin Durant, Derrick Rose, James Harden and LeBron James practicing three-pointers to the tune of “Jingle Bells.”
The remake, “Jingle Hoops Regifted,” brings back Steph, LeBron and KD, but they’re now joined by Luka Dončić and Jayson Tatum – the animated version reimagines the players as action figures.
In addition to the main cast, the remake includes cameos from Jalen Brunson, Anthony Edwards, Nikola Jokić, Tyrese Maxey, and Victor Wembanyama, who all join in on the fun. The commercial also features a toy figurine of ESPN’s Malika Andrews and a bobblehead of NBA on ABC’s Mike Breen, providing commentary on the animated chaos.
“Jingle Hoops Regifted” was produced in collaboration with Translation and directed by Dave Scanlon, with animation by Passion Pictures. The 30-second ad premiered on December 10, 2024, and is now streaming across all NBA social media platforms and in the NBA App.
