Giannis Antetokounmpo Positively Threatens To Punch His Teammate
The Milwaukee Bucks have been playing great ever since the All Star Break. During last night’s overtime win over the Detroit Pistons, Giannis Antetokounmpo almost triple-doubled, finishing the game with 28 points, 14 rebounds and nine assists. With this win, the Bucks move past the Hawks and are currently the No. 5 seed in the Eastern Coference.
Last night’s game was a tough one and the Bucks can also thank their rookie Thon Maker for the win. Maker scored a career-high 23 points in just 24 minutes, including a clutch 3-pointer with two minutes left in overtime, to give the Bucks a 102-99 lead.
During a post game interview, Giannis Antetokounmpo explained what adcive he was giving Thon Maker before overtime, and it involved a threat.
“He brings energy, rebounds the ball, runs the floor, he does a little bit of everything, but the most important thing is he’s listening and he’s learning. I told him to play in this game you don’t have to hesitate. Actually in overtime, I told him, ‘If you hesitate, I’m gonna punch you, so shoot the ball whenever you get it.’”
