Kristaps Porzingis Wants To Remain A Knick: “I love New York”
Last week, Kristaps Porzingis has had enough of all the Knicks drama and skipped his exit meeting with the team.
The New York Knicks are a pile of shards, a complete mess. It’s only fitting that the Madison Square Garden is basically on Broadway, and I guarantee you that you won’t find more drama anywhere else.
Now, when asked by Marc Berman of the New York Post if he’d like to stay in New York, Kristaps responded:
“Of course, I love New York. I love New York.”
Kristaps Porzingis will almost certainly stay with the Knicks next year, and possibly for the next 8 to 10 years. The Knicks would be stupid to not offer him a max extension after his rookie contract ends, and Porzingis would most likely sign that contract. Well, as long as the Knicks will finally start to get their sh*t together.
