Joel Embiid Told Ben Simmons To Dunk All Over Lonzo Ball
Last night, Lonzo Ball was drafted by the Los Angeles Lakers with their number two pick. Something Ball and his whole entourage have been dreaming of for at least two years, became reality. This moment was especially great for Lonzo’s father LaVar, who has always said that ‘the Lakers are the only option for his son’.
Shortly before Lonzo’s selection, LaVar Ball had yet another interesting statement.
“I told you. From the words of Zeus, Jesus, everybody said he gonna be a Laker.”

This statement led to a Ben Simmons tweet. The 2016 NBA Draft’s number one pick did not think that LaVar’s words were funny and tweeted:
Then shortly after, Simmons’ teammate Joel Embiid joined in and told Simmons to dunk on Lonzo Ball so hard, that LaVar will run onto the court to save him.

This could be the start of a great new rivalry. Two young teams with a great outlook for years to come (Philadelphia being the stronger team as of now). We’ll find out next season if Simmons takes on Embiid’s challenge and dunks on Ball.
