Bill Russell Announces NBA Comeback, While Calling Himself The Greatest Defender In NBA History
Bill Russell is undoubtedly one of the greatest player in NBA history. No one has won as many championships. Winning is part of his DNA. He was the ultimate leader and is a true legend.
He’s an 11-time NBA champion (1957, 1959–1966, 1968, 1969), 5- time NBA MVP (1958, 1961–1963, 1965), 12-time NBA All-Star (1958–1969), 11-time All-NBA Team member, 4-time rebounding champion and a 2-time NCAA champion, and most importantly, he still is alive and doing well.
Yesterday, as an April Fools’ special, Bill Russell hilariously announced his comeback, while calling himself the greatest defender in NBA history, in response to Draymond Green claiming that title for himself.
“Last week a team reached out looking for an out of work 6’9 now 6’5, over the hill, Greatest defender in NBA history to fill a spot. Time to get game ready!”
