Davis Bertans Opens Basketball Court In His Hometown Honoring Kobe Bryant

Earlier this week, on August 24, we celebrated Mamba Day, which has become a global holiday ever since the tragic death of Kobe Bryant.

Even all the way in Latvia, people think of Kobe on 8/24. The Latvian laser, Davis Bertans now opened up a basketball court in his hometown of Valmiera to give back to the community and to pay his respect to Kobe Bryant.

This is awesome!

Davis, Dairis and the Bertans family are giving back to the community, opening the Bertans Family Foundation Basketball court in Valmiera, open to anyone to go and play the game they love.

The Bertans family pay respect to the late Kobe Bryant, honoring him with the number 24 in the middle of the court.
