DeAndre Jordan Involved In Car Accident; Chris Paul At Scene

Los Angeles Clippers center DeAndre Jordan is not hurt after being involved in a car accident on Tuesday afternoon in California’s Playa del Rey area, according to ESPN. The two-time NBA rebounding champion was on his way to the airport to attend a team flight to New Orleans. Eventually–after the accident occurred–he flew with his team to New Orleans, where they’re set to meet the Pelicans on Wednesday.

In a story reported by TMZ Sports, the accident involved two cars and had teammate Chris Paul at the scene. However, Paul was not with Jordan in the car when the accident occurred, rather he was nearby and came with the Clippers staff to aid their teammate and give a ride to the airport.

The Clippers are already without three of their five starters: Chris Paul, Blake Griffin and J.J. Redick. Fortunately for them, they won’t be shortened of Jordan’s services in their next game.

Thankfully, everyone was okay on both sides of the incident.
