In the men’s street final, Japan’s Yuto Horigome clinched his second consecutive Olympic gold medal with a breathtaking performance. Horigome, who was trailing behind the leaders, executed a flawless backside nollie 270 on his final trick, earning an impressive score of 97.08. This last-minute triumph pushed him past the American contenders, Jagger Eaton and Nyjah Huston.
Eaton and Huston, who had dazzled the crowd with their diverse array of tricks, secured the silver and bronze medals, respectively. Eaton’s penultimate trick, scoring 95.25, had briefly placed him at the top, but Horigome’s final run sealed the victory.
