Kyrie Irving Is The Most Skilled Player Of All-Time According To Kendrick Perkins: “No Disrespect To Michael Jordan”
Kyrie Irving has always drawn attention for his ridiculous basketball skills. He’s a three-level scorer who is known for his sick handles and deep layup package. He’s always been noted as a huge contributor on the offensive end and is seemingly a lock for 20-plus points a game on a nightly basis.
Irving averages 23.0 points, 3.8 rebounds and 5.7 assists per game on 47.1% shooting for his career. He has leveled this up with the Brooklyn Nets and has shaped his numbers to 27.2 points, 4.8 rebounds and 5.9 assists per game on 49.6% FG since joining the team.
When talking about the most skilled basketball players of all-time, it’s pretty hard to identify where the 29-year old Nets guard ranks on the list. But for retired NBA player and now-media personality Kendrick Perkins, the verdict is clear – Irving sits at No.1.
“I am doubling down on Evan Fournier, he (Kyrie Irving) is the most skilled player to ever play the game. And it is no disrespect to Michael Jordan. It is no disrespect to the late great Kobe Bryant. It is no disrespect to Olajuwon and a lot of others. But when you look at what Kyrie doing, how he does it. It’s not what he do, it’s how he do it.”
“At 6-2 he has the complete offensive package. There’s nothing you can do as far as scheme wise, double team, triple team to stop this young man.”
