20 Years Ago, 38-Year-Old Michael Jordan Had A 51-Point Game

20 years ago, during a game between the Charlotte Hornets and the Washington Wizards, 38-year-old Michael Jordan scored 51 points, and added seven rebounds, four assists and three steals.

After the game, Michael Jordan said:

“I’m pretty sure you guys were saying how old I was and I wanted certainly to make a statement offensively.”

 

What a legend! Two nights after the lowest-scoring game of his career, Michael Jordan had one of the best games in Washington Wizards history.
