Mike Brown Completely Roasts Referee Tony Brothers Who Then Got Sad Instantly
Tony Brothers is one of the NBA’s most experienced referees. In 22 years, Brothers has officiated 1,288 regular season, 69 playoff, and six NBA Finals games.
But the Golden State Warriors’ record in games officated by Brothers is not really that great. In 2013, the Warriors even lost seven consecutive games officiated by him.
You can imagine, that the Warriors weren’t all too happy when they found out that Brothers was one of the officials in Game 2. The Warriors though, won the game, which led to Mike Brown making fun of Brothers when he was walking by during an interview. Brown said:
“When I found out Tony is going to be officiating the game, I was like ‘man, I’m glad, that I’m not coaching tonight.'”
Brothers wasn’t having any of it. He looked very dissapointed and sad.
