Nick Young Criticizes Pro-Am Leagues After Isaiah Thomas And Payton Pritchard’s Recent Scoring Outbursts
Isaiah Thomas recently sent shockwaves through the basketball world after dropping an 81-point game performance in Seattle Pro-Am. Not long after, Boston Celtics guard Payton Pritchard torched Portland’s Pro-Am game and scored a ridiculous 92 points to lead his team to a 165-163 victory.
Isaiah eventually developed interest from some NBA teams including the Los Angeles Lakers and the Boston Celtics following his incredible scoring performance. Pritchard, meanwhile, got a number of NBA fans and pundits seriously discuss his potential as an NBA player.
Everyone seemed impressed by their performances except for former NBA shooting guard Nick Young. Sharing his thoughts on Twitter, Young also known as ‘Swaggy P’ criticized the Seattle and Portland Pro-Am leagues for letting players like Isaiah and Payton have a field day scoring the basketball.
“I mean no disrespect but Seattle and Portland gotta have the worst pro am hoops they letting ppl score 92 81 70 50 50 come on y’all stop getting ppl from in front of the liquor store and telling them to come hoop lol”
