Paul Pierce Says He Would’ve Won Five Championships If He Had The Amount Of Talent James Harden Has Had Around Him
Paul Pierce is known as one of the best small-forwards to ever play the game. Since retiring from professional basketball, the former Boston Celtics superstar has transitioned to doing a lot of TV work and making appearances on various social media outlets.
His post-playing career however has been marred by controversial statements and flurry of jokes. This is because Pierce has never shied away from speaking out his mind and expressing confidence on the career he had and talent as a player.
Pierce is back in the headlines this week, sharing his opinion on the situation of James Harden, who is now playing with MVP contender Joel Embiid. Appearing on No Chill, the retired NBA superstar said that he could have taken home five championships if he had the amount of talent Harden has had around him.
“But my thing is, when I look at that, [Joel] Embiid right now is the best big in the game, but…if I had the chance to play with the talent that Harden plays with, I’d probably be walking out of here with five championships,” Pierce said.
