Prime Michael Jordan Once Lost One-On-One Against A Corporate Executive
Did you know that the greatest basketball player of all times once lost to a corporate executive?
Well, it’s true. A guy named John Rogers Jr. is the lucky one being able to brag about beating Michael Jordan in a one-on-one pickup game. He is the founder and CEO of Ariel Investments, the largest minority-run mutual fund in the United States, and a Chicago native.
Rogers, who also was part of the inner circle of the Barack Obama presidential campaign, spent his high school days playing for the University of Chicago Laboratory Schools, before playing college basketball at Princeton. In December 2011, the basketball court in the main competition gym at the University has been named after him. But besides of achieving incredibly much in his career and personal life, he’ll forever be the man who beat Michael Jordan.
