Once again, the NBA community is buzzing with another perspective on the ever-popular topic of the all-time starting five lineup. This time, the perspective comes from Oklahoma City Thunder superstar Shai Gilgeous-Alexander.
Being one of the younger stars in the league, Gilgeous-Alexander’s perspective offers a fresh lens on this longstanding discussion. During his appearance on “NBA 2K,” he revealed his picks for the all-time starting five.
Gilgeous-Alexander surprisingly selected six players, himself included, but omitted legends such as Magic Johnson and LeBron James. Meanwhile, some notable inclusions are Kevin Durant, known to be one of LeBron’s top rivals, and Allen Iverson, who is rarely mentioned in such debates.
“My all-time starting five, including me, would be Kobe Bryant, Michael Jordan, Allen Iverson, Shaquille O’Neal, Kevin Durant.”
