The NBA Is Letting OKC Blatantly Tank And The Game Scores Are Getting Ridiculous
An excerpt from some of OKC’s most recent defeats:
126-96 vs Denver
119-97 vs Knicks
123-102 vs Bulls
116-93 vs Hawks
127-106 vs Mavs
140-103 vs Suns
133-85 vs Blazers
132-108 vs Detroit
129-102 vs Cavs
117-93 vs Sixers
147-109 vs Warriors
129-109 vs Wizards
121-90 vs Sixers
152-95 vs Pacers
All of these took place in the last eight weeks. The Thunder are blatantly tanking, and the league is just letting it happen.
While most teams get fined if they sit their stars or even starters, OKC seems to have the green like when it comes to tanking.
Al Horford hasn’t played since March without being injured, just like Shai Gilgeous-Alexander, who supposedly is out with plantar fasciitis in his right foot, as a result of wear-and-tear throughout the season.
He was supposed to be reevaluated mid-April, something that didn’t happen. The Thunder have a bazillion picks and the league’s green light to tank. WOW!
