The Unlikely Hero Of ‘The Last Dance’ – Michael Jordan’s Security Guard
The most entertaining moment of ‘The Last Dance’s’ episode six was Michael Jordan’s security guard, who became the unlikely hero of the documentary. The scene also showed just how much Jordan likes to gamble.
The United Center security guard, John Michael Wozniak, gambled with Jordan, tossing some coins. Jordan likely thought to come out with an easy win, but ended up being the loser. Wozniak even hit him with a shrug!
Jordan would bet you on ANYTHING including who can throw a quarter closer to the wall…

Unfortunately, Wozniak won’t be experiencing his current fame, as he sadly passed away this past January at the age of 69. But nonetheless, last night, he became a star, and the internet seems to agree.
The amazing #SecurityGuard, John Michael Wozniak, from #TheLastDance Episode 6 will unfortunately not be able to experience the hype around his person, as he sadly passed away back in January at the age of 69.
Kobe was featured in Ep5, Wozniak in Ep6, both passed away in Jan. 😢

Jordan’s security guard is the most undercover security guard I’ve ever seen. #TheLastDance pic.twitter.com/RGOYBlEGIF

Not Magic Johnson. Not Clyde Drexler. Not Charles Barkley. Not Shawn Kemp or Gary Payton. Not Karl Malone or John Stockton. But the security guard with a perm chucking quarters at a wall stopped Michael Jordan.

nobody in history owns a better story than the security guard who took $ off of #Jordan in quarters. #TheLastDance
