When Allen Iverson Received A Tech For “Bringing The Crowd Down”

Just when you think you’ve seen it all, you couldn’t be more wrong. This, without a doubt, is one of the most ridiculous technical foul calls of all-time. It really doesn’t matter if your name is ‘Allen Iverson’, some referees just do whatever they want, to whoever they want, no matter how ridiculous the call is.

Here, we can see a technical being called against Allen Iverson for bringing the crowd down. As his explanation for the technical, the referee told Iverson:

“It wasn’t your play and you went from here to there and brought the crowd down.”

Upon doing a little research to what the referee means for bringing the crowd down, we found out that Iverson was inciting the crowd to boo or show their displeasure towards the referee’s blatant call. Hence, “bringing the crowd down” against the referees. 

Nonetheless, this is horrendous officiating. Just as Iverson called it “what are you worrying about the crowd for?”
